Her dream to be an actor professionally started when she was an infant. Her move to Los Angeles after graduating from University of Texas in order to make a profession as a professional actress. In the beginning of her career, she was an advertising model. Her TV debut came by appearing as an extra on the series Friday Night Lights. The actress began her career by playing small parts in television series like A Thin Line Supah Ninjas, How I Met Your Mother and A Thin Line Supah Ninjas. She started her movie career around the same time. Her first movies were Detention as well as DisCONNECTED. Her breakthrough came in the form of Kristina in General Hospital. She starred in the show for around one period of a year. The show offered her a part in the role of Raven Reyes, the mechanic of The 100's science-fiction series. The show gave her a big boost to her career. Her character was a recurring character initially but has emerged as one of the main characters in the latest seasons.
